Entry San Diego Properties

We describe condos and homes in North County San Diego that are offered for sale between $0 and $500,000 as “Entry Homes.” While, in most of the rest of the country, homes of this dollar value are likely to be luxury homes, this is just not the case here in North San Diego County. Here, homes of this value are for the first time buyer or those who are investing and renting these homes out. Thus, we call them entry homes. This is not to be misinterpreted as “not good” or “lesser than.” I know many affluent people who entered into the Real Estate Market in Entry Level Homes and have moved up one home at a time, one level at a time, and now live in multi-million dollar homes and now still purchase Entry Level Homes as rental investments. Here on the coast is a great place to invest in such homes. Although they are expensive, relative to the rest of the country’s Entry Level Homes, I describe them as recession resistant. Like Will Rogers said, speaking on the worth of land investment, “God ain’t makin’ any more of it.” This is ESPECIALLY true of coastal property. Think about it, you can’t sprawl out and make more coastal property. Invest near the coast.
