Solana Beach

Solana Beach is classy, affluent beach town with a flare of design and fashion. Solana Beach is located right between Del Mar to the South and Cardiff by the Sea to the North.  It boasts the Cedros Design District, a train station, cozy hillside neighborhoods, wonderful restaurants with food from around the globe, and beautiful beaches.  Residents here enjoy the combination of a hillside beach town with a touch of style and cosmopolitan flavor.

Cedros Design District

The Cedros Design district is a very unique blend of cafes, restaurants and of course, designer shops.  The design shops are geared toward a homeowner who wants their home to be uniquely furnished and appointed.  From the European bath and sink shop to the wood and tile flooring store, there is a little of everything in home design here in the Cedros Design District.  The Cedros Design District also has a wonderfully intimate music venue called The Belly Up Tavern.  Famous bands come from all over the world to perform in this very unique venue in an equally unique beach town.

The Solana Beach Train Station

The Solana Beach Train Station is conveniently situated to take you downtown San Diego for an urban experience and a Padres baseball game, or north to see a Lakers basketball game in LA!  The train is a convenient and relaxing option for those traveling in North County San Diego.  Fitting in with the whole designer feel of Solana Beach, the Train Station here is an architectural point of interest as well.

The Beaches

The beaches of Solana Beach are exceptional!  They have the charm of the white sand and gentle waves combined with picturesque sandstone cliffs.  Relatively uncrowded, these beaches are a great place to catch a North County San Diego Sunset!

Complex Upgrades!  There are some exciting upgrades being made to the complexes near the Del Mar Racetrack and the Bluff of Solana Beach.  Give me a call regarding these upgrades and how they are affecting home values, purchase negotiations and HOA fees.

The Fletcher Cove Park!  There was a parking lot at the coastal end of Lomas Santa Fe.  This parking lot and surfspot was known locally as "Pillbox."  This Parking lot has been undergoing major construction and is soon to become a very cool park with picnic tables, a playground, basketball court, volleyball court, view decks and local grasses and plants.  It is VERY well designed and is going to be a great improvement of this area.
